Clarence So has been creating and building technology companies, from startup to Dow 30 bellwether, for the past 30 years. He joined Salesforce in their founding year and spent two decades serving in a variety of senior leadership roles including Chief Marketing Officer, EVP and GM of Products and Chief Strategy Officer. During his tenure, Salesforce grew from a pre-revenue startup to over 70,000 employees and $30 billion in annual recurring revenue. Clarence has also advised and invested in over 50 startups, resulting in dozens of profitable companies, 30+ acquisitions and a few IPOs. Currently, he supports several B2B SaaS and healthcare companies as an advisor, investor or board member.
Clarence grew up in Toronto, earned an Electrical Engineering degree from Queen’s University and an MBA from UC Berkeley. He currently lives with his family near San Francisco.
